The Washington Capitals still have a few weeks to go until the start of training camp, but several players have already returned to the ice at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

John Carlson and Darcy Kuemper, along with Joe Snively, Alex Alexeyev and more, are back in D.C. and taking part in some informal skates, which appeared to kick off on Monday.

Players usually return a few weeks before the start of training camp to get some informal on-ice work in. Training camp kicks off on Sept. 20.
