WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals are coming off the craziest win of the year, and as they celebrate T.J. Oshie, they'll look to secure another key two points and steal back a playoff spot against the Winnipeg Jets.
Here's everything to know before puck drop at Capital One Arena at 12:30 p.m. ET. Washington will hold a ceremony pregame to celebrate Oshie hitting 1,000 NHL games.
Washington will get a boost with T.J. Oshie and Aliaksei Protas back in after missing the last two games due to injuries. Tom Wilson is serving the second game of a six-game suspension, so the team will have one extra remaining in the lineup.
Charlie Lindgren will be back in net for the Capitals after relieving Darcy Kuemper in Friday's 7-6 shootout win over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Here are the projected line combinations:
Alex Ovechkin-Connor McMichael-T.J. Oshie
Aliaksei Protas-Dylan Strome-Ivan Miroshnichenko
Max Pacioretty-Hendrix Lapierre-Sonny Milano
Beck Malenstyn-Nic Dowd-Nicolas Aube-Kubel
Martin Fehervary-John Carlson
Rasmus Sandin-Nick Jensen
Alex Alexeyev-Trevor van Riemsdyk
Washington will honor T.J. Oshie for his 1,000th NHL game with a pregame ceremony on Sunday. All players will wear No. 77 in warmups, and there will be a reception where Oshie will receive a tribute and gifts from the organization and his teammates.
