The Capitals will see two prospects go for gold at World Juniors.

The Washington Capitals will have two prospects representing them in the gold medal game at the IIHF World Junior Championships, as Ryan Chesley and Ryan Leonard helped Team USA advance with a comeback victory over Finland.

The Americans went down 2-0 after a dominant first period by the Finns, but they were able to power back in the second. Jimmy Snuggerud got on the board first, and later in the frame, Capitals defensive prospect Chesley helped set up Will Smith for the game-tying goal.

It marked Chelsey's first assist of the tournament and second point, as the Minnesota Golden Gophers sophomore had a goal in the preliminary round.

Leonard skated on the third line with Gabe Perreault and Smith, and his puck movement and drive helped put the game-tying goal in motion. He has had a point in every other game this tournament.

Cutter Gauthier had the game-winning goal in the third period.

The gold medal game is on Friday.
