The Capitals are dealing with numerous injuries up front.

ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals have made another recall amid mounting injuries up front, as Ivan Miroshnichenko is up from the AHL's Hershey Bears and taking part in Monday's morning skate.

Miroshnichenko's recall comes amid mounting injuries up front.

T.J. Oshie was hurt in Thursday's win over the Tampa Bay Lightning when he suffered a non-contact injury in the third period, and the game before that, Nic Dowd suffered an upper-body injury in the first period.

Anthony Mantha was also banged up at the end of Saturday's loss to the Florida Panthers, though he is on the ice for Monday's morning skate in a regular jersey.

Through 47 games with Hershey this season, Miroshnichenko has nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points. He got four games up with the Capitals earlier this year.

Miroshnichenko is one of a handful of Bears up with the Capitals. Pierrick Dubé was also recalled, as was Hendrix Lapierre and Mike Sgarbossa.
