WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals will be without two key players against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday, as T.J. Oshie and Aliaksei Protas will not play due to injury.

Oshie's injury is an upper-body injury, and Protas' is a lower-body ailment.

Both are listed as day-to-day. Oshie did not skate on Wednesday morning due to maintenance, while Protas took the morning skate

With both out, Mike Sgarbossa and Nicolas Aube-Kubel will draw back into th elineup.
