ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals will see their young prospects take the ice in Annapolis, Maryland, starting on Sunday, as the team holds its annual rookie camp at McMullen Hockey Arena from Sept. 13 to 15.
Capitals up-and-coming rookies Cole Hutson and Ilya Protas headline the roster, which consists of 17 Washington draft picks and free agent invites. Andrew Cristall, Lynden Lakovic and Terik Parascak are also among the top selections who will participate.
Oliver Suvanto, the Capitals' 18th overall selection from this past year, is currently on loan to Liiga's Tappara and will not be in attendance for rookie or training camps with the season already underway overseas in Finland. Washington's other 2026 picks in Tyus Sparks, Brian McFadden and Logan Stuart will also be at the upcoming camp.
