
Two more Capitals prospects are joining the Bears for their playoff run.
Two more Washington Capitals prospects are joining the Hershey Bears for the Calder Cup Playoffs.
The Capitals re-assigned forward Terik Parascak to Hershey on Monday, while defensive prospect Aron Dahlqvist signed an amateur tryout to also join the Bears.
Parascak is coming off another strong year in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars, where he put up 33 goals and 46 assists for 79 points in 61 games, along with 53 penalty minutes. The 2024 first-round pick got one game up in the AHL last season.
Dahlqvist, taken in the sixth round of the 2025 NHL Draft, got 14 games up with Brynäs IF, the same team as Nicklas Backstrom, in the Swedish Hockey League and played 29 games with Brynäs IF's U-20 team, picking up seven points and a plus/minus rating of plus-13.
Hershey will kick off the next round of the postseason against the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Thursday.
