The Capitals will be well represented at Alzner's annual slow-pitch softball game.

The Washington Capitals will be well represented once again at the Alzner Foundation's annual "Swing Into Summer" game on May 30, with two fan favorites joining an impressive lineup featuring multiple stars from the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area.

Former Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby and defenseman Steve Oleksy are just two players already confirmed to take part in Washington alum Karl Alzner's annual D.C. All-Star charity softball game.

Last year, Dylan Strome and Connor McMichael, along with T.J. Oshie and Holtby, participated, and more athletes are expected to be announced in the days leading up to the game.

In addition to Holtby and Oleksy, former professional women's hockey player Haley Skarupa, former Washington Commanders stars Vernon Davis and Ryan Kerrigan, former Washington Nationals infielder Ryan Zimmerman, former D.C. united center back Steven Birnbaum, tennis coach and star Denis Kudla, PLL Director and former lacrosse pro Kyle Harrison and University of Wisconsin star Lacey Eden will all play.

The game takes place at Capital One Park in McLean, Virginia and raises money for the Alzner Foundation, which empowers and promotes youth sports organizations across the DMV by providing funding, resources and visibility to increase access and equality.

Tickets are on sale now, and the game will also feature a silent auction and raffle.
