The Capitals prospect had quite the goal in Friday's game between the Saskatoon Blades and Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Washington Capitals got quite the sight from one of their prospects on Friday, as Alexander Suzdalev pulled off "The Michigan" with the WHL's Saskatoon Blades.

With Saskatoon on the power play and trailing the Moose Jaw Warriors 2-1 with seconds left in the first, Suzdalev skated behind the net and elected to try the lacrosse-style move. He scooped the puck up onto his stick and pulled it off, tying the game in style.

Suzdalev returned to the WHL in 2024 after starting the year overseas playing with Mora IK of the Sweden-1. The 19-year-old was going to play with Hershey, but a deep Bears roster led him to heading to Europe before choosing to return to juniors.

The Blades acquired Suzdalev in a blockbuster trade with the Regina Pats back in December.

In 27 games with Saskatoon, Suzdalev has eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points and is starting to find his game again.
