Here's a look at some of the action from the first few days of Capitals Development Camp at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

ARLINGTON, V.A. -- The first four days of Washington Capitals Development Camp haven't been easy, with prospects being put to the test, working with Wendy Marco on skating while fine-tuning their puck-moving skills, shooting ability and work on the transition.

Here are some of the best sights and sounds from camp so far, from Ivan Miroshnichenko's clappers to Haakon Hanelt's quick hands to Ryan Leonard's impressive edge work.

What Else To Know

- Ivan Miroshnichenko is a man on a mission. The 19-year-old missed camp last year while entering remission from Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Now cancer-free and coming off a stealer KHL campaign, he's arrived to make his mark and try to make the Capitals.

- Ryan Leonard has been a force and showing leadership and grit. He's had a couple chirps and strong moments of physicality to boot.

- Haakon Hanelt's showing off his quick hands and vision.

- Mitchell Gibson and Chase Clark continue to show promise, but Garin Bjorklund, who had a tough year with his back, is making quite a statement. New seventh-round pick Antoine Keller has also shown his upside.

- Other standouts: Andrew Cristall, Cam Allen, Max Burkholder, Bogdan Trineyev
