Here's what Ethen Frank, Lars Eller and Logan Thompson had to say after the Capitals' 3-2 OT loss to the Canadiens.

WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals were able to escape with a point but didn't get the result they wanted on Friday against the Montreal Canadiens.

Jakob Chychrun and Lars Eller scored, but Washington ultimately fell 3-2 in overtime.

"We're nowhere near where we need to be," Logan Thompson, who made 19 saves in the loss, said.
