The Capitals prospects made good use of the zipline on Sunday.

Washington Capitals prospects Hendrix Lapierre and Vincent Iorio put their acting skills to the test on Sunday's they teamed up with the team's social media account to recreate a viral moment from Tim Robinson's Netflix sketch comedy series, "I Think You Should Leave."

Washington's rookies lined up for the U.S. Naval Academy Challenge Course on Sunday, which featured a full ropes course complete with rope ladders, tight ropes and of course, a zipline.

It led to Lapierre and Iorio, who were housemates in Hershey this past season and have formed a tight friendship since coming to D.C., using the zipline to reimagine Tim Robinson's zipline scene from the first episode of the third season of the show titled "Summer Loving."

Both recited the lines with the same expression while the social media team synced the audio over the top of the video before showing Lapierre going down the zipline.

It seemed like Iorio was also very invested in the zipline, as he was caught going down the ropes course upside down.

The Capitals are holding their annual rookie camp at McMullen Hockey Arena and the academy in Annapolis for the next two days after kicking things off at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

"Obstacle courses, stuff like that, team bonding," he said. "So should be fun... it’ll be a blast.”

He and Iorio are among the two leaders at rookie camp, with both of them lining up first and taking charge to help make the other prospects feel welcome and comfortable. For Todd Nelson, having that presence at camp is huge.

"Those guys were leading the charge," Hershey Bears head coach Todd Nelson said of the two, who are coming off short summers following the Calder Cup run. "I think maybe it was an eye-opener for some younger players coming in."

Washington has two more days of rookie camp before team physicals on Wednesday and the first day of training camp on Thursday.
