After a convincing win at home 24 hours earlier, the Washington Capitals are back out on the road for one last game before the holiday break, this time against the Boston Bruins.

Here's everything to know before puck drop at 7 p.m. at TD Garden.

With illness spreading through the room, the lineup tweaks a bit on Monday, especially with the team facing some fatigue after a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday.

Alex Ovechkin remains out of the mix but is on the mend and expected to return after the holiday break. The same goes for Lars Eller, who's out with illness.

Charlie Lindgren will start for the Capitals.

- Aliaksei Protas has goals in back-to-back games, as does Jakub Vrana.

- Charlie Lindgren is coming off an impressive game where he had his save of the year on Friday, so look for him to make an impact. He also likes playing in Beantown.

- Watch out for Connor McMichael, who has points in back-to-back games and leads the team in goals.

- Also don't count out Dylan Strome, who's hungry to get back on the scoresheet.
