Connor Hellebuyck has been named a Vezina Trophy nominee for the 2023-24 season.

The NHL has announced its three nominees for the Vezina Trophy - presented to the league's top goaltender following the regular season. 

NHL general managers submitted their votes following the conclusion of the season, and the three frontrunners have now been announced as finalists.

The top-three vote getters were Winnipeg's Connor Hellebuyck, Florida's Sergei Bobrovsky and Vancouver's Thatcher Demko. 

Hellebuyck went 37-19-4 on the season and boasted a 2.39 goals against average, a .921 save percentage and five shutouts. He took home the Jennings Trophy for backstopping the team that allowed the fewest goals against this season. 

Bobrovsky was 36-17-4 with a 2.37 goals against average, a .915 save percentage and six shoutouts on the year.

Demko went 35-14-2 wit ha 2.45 goals against average, a .918 save percentage and had five shutouts on the season. 

The winner will be unveiled at the NHL Awards Show expected to be held in Vegas next month.
