Kyle Connor has been named one of the NHL's stars of the month.

Winnipeg Jets' forward Kyle Connor has been named one of the NHL's three stars of the month for October.

The 27-year-old has picked up points in each of the Jets' 10 games in October, putting together what has now been an 11-game point scoring streak.

In October, he scored goals in eight of 10 games played. He also scored a goal in the first game of the season for Winnipeg for the seventh-straight year, setting an NHL record in the process.

Connor is tied for the league lead with three game-winners, and has four power play goals - also tops across the league. He has the Jets' only shorthanded goal on the season.

Connor put up multi-point outings in four-straight games to end October, while recording career career point No. 500 in his hometown of Detroit on the 30th.

The Michigan product has nine goals and 18 points in 11 games this season. Connor is just the third member of the Jets to ever be named with such an honour.
