The Winnipeg Jets have announced a roster reduction of five players.

After previously releasing 12 players from their professional tryouts and sending others back to Junior and the American Hockey League last week, the Jets have made five more cuts from training camp.

This past weekend, Winnipeg bid adieu to four forwards and one goaltender, as the calendar flips to October.

Two players were sent back to their respective Junior hockey clubs for the beginning of their OHL and WHL seasons, while three were sent to Manitoba Moose training camp - officially underway from hockey for all centre.

    Players sent back to Junior:

    F – Colby Barlow
    F – Brayden Yager

Players sent to the Manitoba Moose:

    F – Parker Ford
    F – Daniel Torgersson

    G – Domenic DiVincentiis

The Jets' training camp roster currently stands at 37 players remaining in camp - a number of which are battling injuries.
