Jets prospect Nikita Chibrikov to join other rookies at annual showcase.
Winnipeg Jets forward prospect Nikita Chibrikov will join 32 other NHL prospects at the 2024 NHLPA Rookie Showcase.
The 14th annual event will take place at MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia - the home training facility of the Washington Capitals.
Once again sponsored by Upper Deck, the showcase will allow the rookies in attendance to have photos taken in their likeness over the course of the day in their official team colours.
The event is closed to the general public and will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with individual player availability to follow the on-ice session and photos.
Chibirikov, the 21-year-old Moscow, RU. product, was called up from the Manitoba Moose in the Jets' final game of the season. He scored his first career NHL goal in that game. The 2021 50th overall pick had 17 goals and 47 points in 70 games in his first AHL season with Manitoba.
