The Winnipeg Jets have announced that goaltender Thomas Milic has been sent back down to the ECHL following a short stint with the Manitoba Moose.
The move comes four games after Manitoba recalled the 21-year-old from the Norfolk Admirals - to whom he spent part of the 2023-24 season with.
Milic saw action in one game - his last - and managed a victory, 3-2 in overtime over the Belleville Senators.
He served as the backup to Domenic DiVincentiis thrice in advance of the game he started. DiVincentiis went 2-1-0 over those three games.
So far this season, Milic has a 5-10-2 record in 18 games for Manitoba, while posting a 3.45 goals against average and a .875 save percentage - far off his numbers from last year.
He is 3-3-0 in six ECHL games for the Admirals this year.
Selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL Draft, Milic will likely battle with DiVincentiis for time over the course of his early professional career.
