The Winnipeg Jets revealed their seven-man taxi squad for the playoffs, serving as extras if the team runs into injury problems.

The seven-man taxi squad is made up of four forwards: Parker Ford, Mason Shaw, Axel Jonsson-Fjallby and Brad Lambert, as well as three defensemen: Elias Salomonsson, Dylan Coghlan, and Isaak Phillips.

Ford has been rehabbing an injury and looks to be healthy, and is now an option as an extra forward. The Jets are already dealing with injuries to Nikolaj Ehlers, Gabriel Vilardi and Rasmus Kupari, although Vilardi and Kupari are inching closer to returning.

Lambert is still recovering from his injury and is not skating at the moment. Shaw and Jonsson-Fjallby are experienced forwards who could provide stability in the bottom six if need be.

Defensively, Coghlan has both NHL experience and experience playing with the Jets and their system this season. Phillips was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks this season but has not played a game with the Jets.

Salomonsson is regarded as one of, if not the top Jets prospect. He enjoyed an excellent rookie season in the AHL. He has not made his NHL debut just yet, but could do so sometime next season.

In a perfect world, these seven players would remain as extras, and the current roster wouldn't suffer any additional injuries.
