The Winnipeg Jets have officially signed forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan.

The Winnipeg Jets have made their first offensive signing of the 2024 offseason.

On Tuesday afternoon it was announced that the team had come to terms with forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan on a two-year contract.

The deal carries with it a $775K annual average value at the NHL level. It is a unique contract in that it is considered two-way for the 2024-25 season and becomes a one-way deal for the 2025-26 season.

The 24-year-old forward was selected in the second round of the 2017 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings, where he went on to suit up in 126 regular season games over the past six seasons.

He was moved to Nashville midway through the 2023-24 season and got into one game with the Predators. Anderson-Dolan was not qualified and became a free agent, to which he chose to sign in Winnipeg.

Not much of a producer, the Calgary product has 15 goals and 28 points in his 127 games, to go alongside just 18 total penalty minutes. He will look to battle for a spot within the Jets' bottom-six, but does have the luxury of being sent down to the Manitoba Moose without the risk of a Waiver claim, so he would likely be at the top of the list in terms of players eligible to be sent down due to overcrowding.

Despite all that, Anderson-Dolan will have some familiarity as he enters' the Jets' systems, as he spent time suiting up alongside Gabe Vilardi, Alex Iafallo and Rasmus Kupari over the last few seasons playing with the Kings.
