The Winnipeg Jets have announced the signings of forwards Tanner Pearson and Cole Koepke.

Both players come to the Jets on one-year deals at a swift $1 million a piece.

Koepke is a former sixth round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning who spent the past year with Boston. The 27-year-old put up 10 goals and 17 points in 73 games for the Bruins last season.

Pearson, 32, brings a Cup-winning pedigree to Winnipeg, as well as some familiarity with Mark Scheifele - his Junior teammate in Barrie. The depth forward collected 12 goals and 27 points in 78 games for Vegas last season.

Winnipeg remains well under the salary cap with potential signings of Nikolaj Ehlers, Gabe Vilardi, Dylan Samberg, Morgan Barron and Mason Appleton left to be attended.
