The Jets will honour Connor Hellebuyck on Friday.

The Winnipeg Jets have made plans to honour goaltender Connor Hellebuyck on Friday night.

A special pre-game ceremony will take place in advance of the 7:00 PM central puck drop at Canada Life Centre between the Jets and Los Angeles Kings.

Hellebuyck recently earned his 300th career victory on Tuesday night vs. Nashville, becoming the third-fastest goaltender in NHL history to accomplish the feat (538 games).

Earlier this season, Hellebuyck picked up his 40th career shutout, and has skated in his 500th career game.

Selected 130th overall in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Draft by the Jets, Hellebuyck has earned each of his wins for Winnipeg, and has developed into one of the league's very top backstops in the years since.

He has two Vezina Trophies to his name - and is on pace for another this year - while currently leads the league with 25 wins, five shutouts, a 2.08 goals against average and .926 save percentage.

It is expected that Connor's father Chuck, wife Andrea and children Hugh and Violet will join him on-ice to receive gifts from True North Sports + Entertainment executive chairman Mark Chipman.
