The Winnipeg Jets will lineup the same way on Tuesday as they ended their game against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday evening.
Although puck drop will be three hours later than it was for Game 1, things will remain relatively the same for the Jets entering the second test of the best-of-seven series set to get underway at 8:45 from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday night.
The late-night affair will be an opportunity for Winnipeg to pull ahead 2-0 before the series shifts to Colorado for two games at Ball Arena.
Although most are expecting the game will not feature the 13 goals found in the opener, both clubs are known for their offence. But it is in the goaltending that will need to be better come Tuesday night.
Alexander Georgiev and Connor Hellebuyck were the two top goaltenders this past season in terms of wins. Neither played their best hockey on Sunday. Hellebuyck, however, still managed 40 saves despite allowing six goals against.
Forward Morgan Barron will remain out of the lineup with a lower-body injury, while David Gustafsson will stay in his place, as Cole Perfetti sits out his second-straight contest in the press box as a healthy scratch.
Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Tuesday, April 23 vs. Colorado:
Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi
Ehlers-Monahan-Toffoli
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Gustafsson-Namestnikov-Iafallo
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Stanley-Samberg
Injured: Barron
Healthy scratches: Kupari, Perfetti, Schmidt, Miller
Puck drop is set for 8:45 PM central time, while the game can be viewed live on Sportsnet and CBC.
