The 42-15-3 Winnipeg Jets have travelled to New York for a test against the 27-25-7 Islanders on Tuesday evening.

Set for 6:00 PM central, the game is the second of a back-to-back for New York, while serving as the first stop of a four-game road trip for the Jets.

Winnipeg faces the Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils and Carolina Hurricanes over the next week before returning home to Canada Life Centre for a Tuesday night matchup with the New York Rangers.

The only change for the Jets will be on defence, as Dylan Samberg will not dress on Tuesday. Head coach Scott Arniel said that he is away from the club dealing with a family matter.

Haydn Fleury will dress for Winnipeg, filling in for the absent Samberg. Connor Hellebuyck is expected to start in goal for the Jets.

Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Tuesday, March 4 at New York:

    Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi

    Ehlers-Namestnikov-Perfetti

    Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton

    Barron-Kupari-Iafallo
