The 51-19-4 Winnipeg Jets are in Los Angeles where they will take on the 41-23-9 Kings on Tuesday night in the first test of a three-game west coast road trip.

With the teams trailing immediately behind Winnipeg continuing to win games left, right and centre, the Jets will need to do their part to stay atop the standings.

That means win, and win some more as the final playoff push for many teams begins to heighten, league-wide.

Sure, the Jets have already clinched their way to the postseason, but lots is left to be determined.

The Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues continue to win every game they participate in. Dallas is just four points behind Winnipeg, while a critical back-to-back featuring the Blues and Stars awaits the Jets following the road trip.

Washington is also right behind Winnipeg in terms of first-place across the league.

Lots to keep track of.

With Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Chris Driedger called up as reinforcements from the Manitoba Moose, the Jets aren't expected any major changes for Tuesday's contest vs. the Kings.
