The Winnipeg Jets face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday.

The Winnipeg Jets have travelled south for the first stop of their three-game road trip.

Beginning in Tampa Bay on Wednesday night, the 10-5-2 Jets will take on a team with the same number of standings points as them in the 9-6-4 Lightning.

A dominant 6-2-2 at home, the Bolts will look to ride the wave following back-to-back wins at Amalie Arena over the Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins.

The Jets - who are also no stranger to winning - will be looking for their seventh win in their past eight games, and fourth-straight win outright.

With forward Gabe Vilardi slowly working himself back to health, the Jets will continue using a similar lineup to the one that the team has rolled with for the better part of three weeks,

Winnipeg Jets' expected lines for Wednesday, November 22 at Tampa Bay:

    Connor-Scheifele-Iafallo

    Perfetti-Namestnikov-Ehlers

    Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton

    Barron-Gustafsson-Jonsson-Fjallby

    Morrissey-DeMelo

    Dillon-Pionk

    Samberg-Schmidt

    Hellebuyck

    Healthy scratches: Toninato, Stanley

    Injured: Vilardi, Kupari

Wednesday's game can be viewed live on Sportsnet at 6:00 PM. The team will then travel to Florida for a Friday night affair with the Panthers, before concluding the trip in Nashville on Sunday evening.
