The 38-16-5 Winnipeg Jets travel to Buffalo for a date with the 29-28-4 Sabres on Sunday evening.
The game is the second of a back-to-back for Winnipeg, which came from behind in miraculous fashion on Saturday morning, winning 5-3 over the Carolina Hurricanes in a game the visitors trailed 3-0 entering the third period.
The Jets used a different-looking lineup on Saturday, as Brenden Dillon missed the game with an illness, Gabe Vilardi was injured - and has since returned to Winnipeg to be re-evaluated - and Cole Perfetti sat in the press box as a healthy scratch.
Logan Stanley, Rasmus Kupari and David Gustafsson filled in in their absences.
With no morning skate in Buffalo on Sunday, there is no indication whether head coach Rick Bowness rolls with the same lineup on Sunday, or if either Dillon or Perfetti will draw back into the lineup. More information will be available following line rushes in pre-game warmup.
With Connor Hellebuyck getting the nod for Game 1 of the back-to-back, it is expected that Laurent Brossoit will take to the crease on Sunday.
Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Sunday, March 3 at Buffalo:
Connor-Scheifele-Ehlers
Namestnikov-Monahan-Iafallo
Appleton-Lowry-Niederreiter
Barron-Gustafsson-Perfetti
Morrissey-DeMelo
Pionk-Dillon
Samberg-Schmidt
Brossoit
Injured: Vilardi
Healthy scratches: Kupari, Stanley
Puck drop is set for 6:00 PM central time on Sunday. The game can once again be viewed live on TSN.
