Line Combinations: Jets at Stars

The Winnipeg Jets are back in action Thursday evening, taking on the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center in another Central Division matchup.

Winnipeg will look to snap a three-game losing streak following Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to the St. Louis Blues. The Jets will turn to Stuart Skinner between the pipes as they begin a challenging stretch of games against some of the NHL's top teams.

The biggest change to Winnipeg's lineup comes with the addition of Brayden Yager, who will make his season debut after being recalled from the Manitoba Moose earlier this week. Yager was a healthy scratch against St. Louis but will draw into the lineup Thursday alongside captain Adam Lowry and Isak Rosén.

Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele and Cole Perfetti remain together on Winnipeg's top line, while Alex Iafallo will skate alongside rookie Viggo Björck and Gabriel Vilardi on the second unit.

Nino Niederreiter shifts down to the fourth line alongside Morgan Barron and Brad Lambert, with Cole Koepke coming out of the lineup to make room for Yager.

On defence, Dylan Samberg and Neal Pionk will continue as Winnipeg's top pairing, followed by Mario Ferraro and Dylan DeMelo. Haydn Fleury and Tyrel Bauer round out the defensive group, with Josh Morrissey remaining sidelined due to injury.

Skinner gets the start in goal for Winnipeg, while Dallas is expected to counter with Jake Oettinger.

The Jets enter Thursday's contest with a 4-3-2 record, while the Stars sit at 5-3-1 following three consecutive victories.
