The 52-20-4 Winnipeg Jets have travelled to Salt Lake City for a Saturday evening test against the 34-30-12 Utah Hockey Club.

Coming off an impressive 4-0 shutout over the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, Winnipeg will look to keep pace amid a fiery race to the top of the standings that saw Washington pick up two points on Friday, while Dallas has won each of its past seven games.

The Hockey Night in Canada spectacle will feature Connor Hellebuyck in net for Winnipeg, where he will look to get back on track following a 4-1 loss to Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The Jets return home to Canada Life Centre following the three-game road trip on Monday for a game against winners of 11-straight, St. Louis, before hitting the road again for a date with Dallas on Thursday.

It will be an incredibly important week of week of hockey for the Jets.

With injuries to Neal Pionk, Gabe Vilardi and Rasmus Kupari, players such as Logan Stanley, Haydn Fleury, David Gustafsson and Jaret Anderson-Dolan have stepped up in their absences - some more than others.

Nikolaj Ehlers, who was hit in the lower-body by pucks on two different occasions on Thursday, is expected to be a game-time decision for the Jets.

Anderson Dolan-Barron-Tanev
