The Jets face off against the Wild on Monday night.

Alex Iafallo Post-game

The 17-4-0 Winnipeg Jets will take on the 13-3-4 Minnesota Wild from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Monday night.

Coming off a difficult 4-1 loss to the league-worst Nashville Predators on Saturday evening, the Jets will look to make it a one-off, rather than a losing streak.

But they will have their hands full in Minnesota, as the Wild are the league's second-best team and actually have fewer regulation losses than Winnipeg.

After suffering what could have been a major injury, Wild star forward Kirill Kaprizov skated for Minnesota in its morning skate and is expected to draw back into the lineup on Monday night.

On the other side of things, the Jets are going to be without defenceman Dylan Samberg for the foreseeable future, as he suffered a broken foot blocking a Steven Stamkos slap shot on Saturday.

Ville Heinola - who was on a short-term conditioning stint with the Manitoba Moose - was recalled on Sunday and will play his first NHL contest in nearly two years on Monday.

Heinola will skate alongside veteran blueliner Colin Miller, while Haydn Fleury will move up to pair with Neal Pionk. Logan Stanley continues to recover from a mid-body injury. Connor Hellebuyck will start in net.

Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Monday, November 25 vs. Minnesota:
