Top prospect Viggo Björck leads a youth movement at Canada Life Centre as the Jets unveil a revamped roster and two rookie debuts against the surging Bruins.
The Winnipeg Jets are set to open the 2026-27 regular season Friday night, welcoming the Boston Bruins to Canada Life Centre for a 7 p.m. CT puck drop.
After a shortened training camp and four-game preseason, Winnipeg will begin the new campaign with a pair of players making their NHL debuts. Eighth-overall pick Viggo Björck will centre the Jets' second line, while Tyrel Bauer will make his debut on the blueline alongside offseason addition Mario Ferraro.
Björck will skate between Isak Rosén and Gabriel Vilardi after earning a spot on Winnipeg's opening-night roster as an 18-year-old. Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele and Cole Perfetti remain together on the top unit.
