The 37-14-3 Winnipeg Jets will host the 32-17-4 Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night from Canada Life Centre.
The Thursday night affair will be Winnipeg's penultimate test prior to the league-wide, two-week break over the 4 Nations Cup.
The Jets have yet to face Carolina on the season, but will travel to Raleigh in early-March for the final test between the clubs.
It will be the first time Winnipeg sees Miko Rantanen in a Hurricanes sweater, after last week's trade involving Martin Necas, et al.
With injuries all around, the Jets will once again boast a makeshift lineup, in hopes for full recoveries to their injured parties over the February break.
Currently on a six-game winning streak, Winnipeg will look to keep the good times rolling against one of Manitoba's best hockey players, Seth Jarvis, who has six points in his last five games for the Hurricanes.
Eric Comrie will start in goal, while Connor Hellebuyck is expected to go on Thursday against the New York Islanders in Winnipeg's final game before the extended break.
The Jets currently sit first-place across the league, while own the most goals-for (195) and the second-fewest goals-against (131). They look look to put a four-point cushion on the Washington Capitals, who play the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.
