The 44-17-4 Winnipeg Jets are set to host the 31-27-6 New York Rangers from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday.
In what is expected to be a highly-touted goaltending matchup, both clubs will show off new talent, as trade deadline acquisitions Luke Schenn and Brandon Tanev make their home debuts for Winnipeg, while Carson Soucy will suit up on the back-end for the visitors.
Connor Hellebuyck and Igor Shesterkin will face one another in goal, with Jonathan Quick and Eric Comrie backing up.
Coming back from a 2-2-0 road trip through the Eastern Conference, Winnipeg will look to get back on a winning note in a venue that has been very good to it so far this season.
The Jets play at home on Tuesday and Friday before hitting the road again for another three games beginning on Sunday.
Defenceman Logan Stanley will draw out of the lineup and serve as a healthy scratch for the first time this season, while Haydn Fleury and Luke Schenn make up the third pairing.
Vlad Namestnikov will play on the second line after an injury scare, while Rasmus Kupari has worked his way back from a concussion. Head coach Scott Arniel mentioned that he wanted Morgan Barron to take some more reps at centre, so Kupari will not yet return to the lineup on Tuesday.
Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM central time from Canada Life Centre.
