The Winnipeg Jets return to the ice at Canada Life Centre on Wednesday night for the second of three-straight Original Six matchups.
This time it's the Detroit Red Wings that make their way to town for their lone Manitoba visit of the season.
For Winnipeg, things will look nearly the same roster-wise as they did on Monday in the Jets' 3-2 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens.
Entering the night 18-9-3, Winnipeg will look to get back to its winning ways, while maintaining its three-game point streak.
The 15-12-4 Red Wings are no pushover either, as former Jets forward Andrew Copp will once again return to Winnipeg, while one of the familiar netminding duo of James Reimer (Morweena, MB.) and Michael Hutchinson (former Winnipeg Jets goaltender) will man the crease for Detroit on Wednesday.
Winnipeg will counter with Laurent Brossoit, as Connor Hellebuyck gets a break in the action, before returning to the fold on Friday vs. the Boston Bruins.
Other than forwards Cole Perfetti and Alex Iafallo swapping places on the team's power play units, things will remain the same as they were on Monday for Winnipeg.
Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Wednesday, December 20 vs. Detroit:
Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi
Perfetti-Namestnikov-Iafallo
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Gustafsson-Jonsson=Fjallby
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt
Brossoit
Injured: Kupari, Heinola
Healthy Scratch: Toninato, Stanley, Chisholm
Wednesday's game can be viewed live on Sportsnet at 6:30 PM central time.
