The Manitoba Moose will be without longtime forward CJ Suess for the 2025-26 season.
The 31-year-old left-shooting forward has left the Moose again to pursue other opportunities in his professional career. After heading to San Jose for the 2022-23 season (before returning back to Manitoba the following season), Suess has now opted to sign with Dresdner Eislowen of the DEL.

The veteran forward had 11 goals and 23 points in 71 games for the Moose last season and also hit the 300-game mark with the franchise last spring, beaconing the first player in Jets 2.0 history to do so.
Selected by the Jets 129th overall in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL Draft, Suess never managed to crack the squad, but did earn a few call-ups. He skated in four games for the Jets as well as one game for the Sharks in his one season away from the club.
The Minnesota product is ranked No. 10 on the Moose franchise record list for games played and earned the 2021 Julian Klymkiw Community Service Award for his work within the local community.
He has 305 games to his name with the Moose and will now head to Germany where he will suit up as No. 15 for Dresdner.
