Long time Manitoba Moose assistant coach Eric Dubois has parted ways with the organization.

After nine seasons with Manitoba, the 55-year-old Moncton product opted to take on a role - also as an assistant -  with ERC Ingolstadt in Germany, located just south of Nuremberg.

Working with the defence in Manitoba, Dubois saw his club go 292-264-34-23 in nine full years (2016-2025). Statistically, he coached 53 players selected by the Winnipeg Jets, including nine first round picks, and 45 players who spent time with both the Moose and the parent club.

On top of the countless players coached in the AHL, Dubois had the opportunity to help train two who took home the league's top defenceman award (Sami Niku and Kyle Capobianco).

Dubois was also 'called up' to the big leagues in 2023 when then assistant Brad Lauer suffered a herniated disc in his back, to which Dubois joined his son, Pierre-Luc on the Jets' NHL roster.

He and his wife Jill will now head to Germany to embark on a new stage of life - one that should bring back memories of his time spent playing in the DEL with the Revier Lions and the Schwenningen Wild Wings.
