The three members of the Winnipeg Jets participating in the 4 Nations Cup have earned high praise from the folks at ESPN.
Heading into the 10 day tournament, ESPN compiled its full list of players participating. All three players from the league-leading Jets were within the top-32 players.
The 80-member list included all players from Canada, USA, Sweden and Finland and was shared to ESPN's social media channels.
Connor McDavid topped the chart at No. 1 overall, with defenceman Cale Makar right behind him. But with 77 players left to go, Jets' goaltender Connor Hellebuyck came out next, ranking No. 3 overall - AKA one of the top players in the world.
Remaining on the first page is Kyle Connor, who topped the charts at position No. 20.
Right behind him was defenceman Josh Morrissey, who came in at No. 32 overall. Connor was the 15th ranked forward, while Morrissey was the seventh ranked defender. Hellebuyck, of course was the No. 1 goaltender on the list.
Morrissey was the 10th ranked Canadian on the list, while Connor came in at No. 9 among Americans. Again, Hellebuyck was No. 1. The Jets' star backstop was a fitting 37 positions higher than the next-best goalie.
