The Legends of Hockey Skins Game will be played on Saturday, August 19 from Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club, as a part of the Shaw Charity Classic, running August 16-20.

The tournament field will consist of 78 PGA Tour Champions golfers, competing for $2.4 million USD in the three-round, 54-hole, stroke-play tournament. Over past iterations, the tournament has raised over $93 million, which has been split amongst 270 youth charities within Alberta over the past 10 years.

“The Rogers Legends of Hockey Charity Skins Game will headline a new lineup of activities on Saturday at the Shaw Charity Classic, taking our annual Family Day tradition to a new level of excitement and bringing hockey fans and families together with the stars of the PGA TOUR Champions for a memorable day at the golf course," said Sean Van Kesteren, executive director, Shaw Charity Classic.

On Saturday, the two Jets stars will take their turn battling fellow hockey players in a nine-hole, alternate shot, skins game formatted tournament. The players will take to the 10th hole roughly 30 minutes after the final group of the official PGA Tour Champions event passes through. The game is expected to be played from roughly 2:45 to 5:15 PM.

Morrissey has raised over $650K through The Dream Factory through his first five runnings. Last year alone, the Josh Morrissey Classic raised $191,527.00. More information on his annual tournament can be found here.
