The Winnipeg Jets take on the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday evening.

The Winnipeg Jets have arrived in Chicago for their Wednesday night affair with the host Blackhawks following the holiday break.

With turkey, stuffing and enough desserts to last until next Christmas have already worked its respective way through the digestive tracts of the young men making up the Jets' roster, the focus has shifted back to proper game day nutrition.

The first stop on the post-Christmas schedule is in the Windy City for an 8:00 PM central test with Connor Bedard and the Hawks.

Having earlier beaten the young phenom at home, Winnipeg (20-9-3) will look to keep the good times rolling with its first of two stops at the Madhouse on Madison this season.

Hoping to build off its current five-game points streak, Winnipeg will use a familiar lineup on Wednesday, as Connor Hellebuyck returns to the visitors' crease at the United Centre.

According to Mike McIntyre and Mitchell Clinton, who are on scene in Chicago, the Jets’ only possible change would be that of forward Dominic Toninato drawing into the lineup in place of David Gustafsson, who is listed as a game-time decision.

Winnipeg Jets' expected line combinations for Wednesday, December 27 at Chicago:

    Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi

    Perfetti-Namestnikov-Iafallo

    Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton

    Barron-Gustafsson-Jonsson-Fjallby

    Morrissey-DeMelo

    Dillon-Pionk

    Samberg-Schmidt

    Hellebuyck

    Injured: Kupari, Heinola

    Healthy Scratch: Toninato, Chisholm, Stanley

Puck drop is set for 8:00 PM and the game can be viewed live on TSN.
