The Winnipeg Jets host the Boston Bruins from Canada Life Centre on Friday.

Carter Brooks Winnipeg Jets Postgame Report

The Winnipeg Jets and Boston Bruins will duke it out from Canada Life Centre on Friday night, as each team looks to become the first to hit 20 wins on the season.

Serving as the final game before the league-mandated Christmas break, Winnipeg (19-9-3) will look to finish on a high note against a 19-5-6 Bruins team sitting first in the Atlantic Division.

Having held first place in the Central Division for all of one night, the Jets have once again slipped behind the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche, who each have 42 points on the year to Winnipeg's 41. A win on Friday would give the Jets outright first, but of course, both the Stars and Avalanche play on Saturday.

Winnipeg will not be changing much from its lineup on Wednesday, other than that of its goaltender. Connor Hellebuyck gets the start in net, while Laurent Brossoit will serve as backup.

Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Friday, December 22 against Boston:

Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi

Perfetti-Namestnikov-Iafallo

Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton

Barron-Gustafsson-Jonsson-Fjallby

Morrissey-DeMelo

Dillon-Pionk

Samberg-Schmidt

Hellebuyck

Injured: Kupari, Heinola

Healthy Scratch: Toninato, Chisholm, Stanley

Friday's game can be viewed live on TSN at 7:00 PM central time.
