    The Winnipeg Jets host the Montreal Canadiens from Canada Life Centre on Monday evening.

    The Winnipeg Jets begin their Original Six week with a test against the Montreal Canadiens on Monday evening.

    The Detroit Red Wings (Wednesday) and Boston Bruins (Friday) also roll into town to conclude the team's four-game homestand and schedule up until the Christmas break.

    Coming off a dominant 6-2 win over the visiting Colorado Avalanche on Saturday, the Jets maintain a piece of second-place in the Central Division, tied with Dallas, as the Avalanche played again on Sunday and picked up a win to move back into first.

    For the 18-9-2 Jets, its business as usual, with the 13-13-4 Canadiens making their lone visit to Manitoba on the year. 

    Montreal is coming off a 5-3 win on Saturday over the New York Islanders after falling in a lengthy shootout to Pittsburgh on Wednesday. 

    Things will look the same for Winnipeg, roster-wise on Monday. The team made no changes to its forward groups or defence pairs. Once again, the league's wins leader, Connor Hellebuyck, starts in net.
