The Winnipeg Jets host the Minnesota Wild from Canada Life Centre on Tuesday.

Brenden Dillon vs. Jacob Middleton

The Winnipeg Jets will return to the ice just 24 hours after a reeling defeat at the hands of the Calgary Flames in Alberta.

Up 3-1 in the first period, Winnipeg watched as the Flames poured it on as the game advanced, ultimately dropping the contest by a 6-3 score.

Just two days removed from a 4-2 victory over the league-leading Vancouver Canucks, head coach Rick Bowness said his team was unrecognizable on the ice.

But the experienced coach also knows his club will be ready to turn things around on Tuesday.

“It’s Minnesota, they just scored 10, seven in the third period against an excellent hockey club," he said. "So, we’ve just got to get back to Winnipeg, hard-nosed, hard to play against hockey. That’s as easy as we’ve played, and as easy to play against as we have all season. So flush it and we’ll get ready to play tomorrow.”

Bowness said there would be some changes to the Jets' makeup for the Tuesday night battle, including the inclusion of Rasmus Kupari and defenceman Logan Stanley.

The other change is that of its goaltender, as Laurent Brossoit will make his first start since a difficult showing against the Philadelphia Flyers on February 8, a game played nearly two weeks ago.

Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Tuesday, February 20 vs. Minnesota:

Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi

Ehlers-Monahan-Perfetti

Appleton-Lowry-Niederreiter

Kupari-Namestnikov-Iafallo

Morrissey-DeMelo

Pionk-Dillon

Samberg-Stanley

Brossoit

Healthy scratches: Schmidt, Barron

Tuesday's game is set to be played at 7:00 PM central time from Canada Life Centre. It will be broadcast live on TSN.
