With the Canadian Hockey League's third postseason round now complete across the board, the league's three championships are set to begin later this week.
The Ontario Hockey League will kick things off first, as the London Knights host the Peterborough Petes in Game 1 of the best-of-seven OHL final on Thursday.
Friday will feature the opening games of both the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Western Hockey League finals. The Quebec Ramparts will host the Halifax Mooseheads, while the Winnipeg ICE will host the Seattle Thunderbirds in their respective seven-game showdowns.
It was announced on Monday that True North Sports + Entertainment - in partnership with the Winnipeg Jets - will welcome the ICE and Thunderbirds to Canada Life Centre for each of Winnipeg's home games in the series.
Owning home-ice advantage, the ICE will begin the round with Games 1 and 2 in Winnipeg, before heading to Seattle for the next three. There is the potential for Games 6 and 7 to be played at Canada Life Centre, should they be required.
The schedule has also been released, with times listed for Games 1 through 5.
Games 3-7 will be aired live on TSN.
The winning team of each series will get the chance at the national championship, the Memorial Cup, held from May 26 to June 4 in Kamloops. Despite losing to Seattle in the Conference Final, the Kamloops Blazers will still serve as a participant at the annual tournament, as they belong to the host city.
