In spirit of NHL All-Star Weekend, here is a prediction of a full OHL All-Star Team roster, including 12 forwards, 6 defence, and 2 goaltenders.

As the NHL All-Star Game gets underway this afternoon, this is an opportunity to look at what a possible OHL All-Star team would look like right now.

This lineup includes the 12 best forwards, 6 best defence, and 2 best goaltenders in the OHL this season thus far.

20 Man OHL All-Star Team Lineup:

Forwards:

Quentin Musty (SBY) - Carson Rehkopf (KIT) - Anthony Romani (NB)

Easton Cowan (LDN) - Denver Barkey (LDN) - David Goyette (SBY)

Matthew Sop (KIT) - Calum Ritchie (OSH) - Porter Martone (MIS)

Liam Greentree (WSR) - Dalyn Wakely (NB) - Gavin Hayes (SOO)

Defence:

Zayne Parekh (SAG) - Hunter Brzustewicz (KIT)

Sam Dickinson (LDN) - Oliver Bonk (LDN)

Arttu Karki (SOO) - Kirill Kudryavtsev (SOO)

Goalies:

Michael Simpson (LDN)

Ryerson Leenders (MIS)

This roster is led by five London Knights, three Kitchener Rangers, and three Soo Greyhounds. There are a lot of different types of players on this team, but I attempted to make somewhat realistic lines.

A lot of these picks were chosen by point production this season, but also by the amount of impact that each player has on his team. For example, Anthony Romani is the only North Bay player on this list, but he is the cornerstone of the North Bay Battalion. All of their success goes through Romani. Liam Greentree, Zayne Parekh, and Ryerson Leenders also fit this description.

The NHL All-Star Weekend is always a fun time of year, and it is always interesting to think about which OHL players would be a part of an event like this in junior hockey.
