The London Knights continue to soar with a 5-1 win against the Windsor Spitfires, including a couple of milestone marks on Friday night.

The London Knights continue to thrive atop the OHL league standings, with another win over Windsor on Friday night. This game brings them to 37 wins and six points ahead of the next best team. London is dominating the OHL, something we have come to expect each season from the historic organization.

This game was not just another win for the club though, as both Oliver Bonk and Easton Cowan hit milestones with their performances.

Oliver Bonk hit the 20 goal mark for the first time in his career, continuing to add to his breakout sophomore season. He scored twice against the Spitfires on Friday, bringing him to 21 goals.

Bonk has been electric since returning from the 2024 World Juniors. Canada's performance was underwhelming, and that has fueled a lot of players fire upon their return — including Bonk.

His defensive game has always been a staple, an asset that his team can rely on consistently. With the surge in his offensive game, Bonk has become a threat on both ends of the ice. He's up to 57 points in 43 games, and the Philadelphia Flyers first round pick continues to show the potential of a top four defender at the NHL level.

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan also had a memorable game against the Spitfires with his three-point performance. His three points extend his point streak to 20 games, the longest by any OHLer this season.

Like Bonk, Cowan has also had a breakout sophomore season. He is up to 69 points in 38 games, including a +28 plus/minus rating.

Cowan has been trending positively since being selected in the first round by Toronto, and he has been emphasizing his offensive game. Last season, it was his two-hundred-foot game, compete, and hockey sense that made Cowan so valuable. This season, his offensive creation and production has taken over.
