Just four games on the slate on Sunday afternoon, as we head into the holiday break.

Heading into the holiday break, Kingston, London, Mississauga, and Oshawa finished on a high note with a win. These three players are heading into the holiday break with an impressive independant performance:

1st Star: Marek Vanacker, Brantford Bulldogs (2G, 2A)

6 (KGN) - 5 (BFD) OT

NHL Draft eligible winger obtained a season-high in points heading into the break, with a four point performance. The Bulldogs lost this one, but Vanacker was in on 4 of 5 goals.

Vanacker is a hard working, nifty power forward who is dangerous around the net. He has the ability to make plays in-tight around the net, whether he needs to make a pass in front or get the shot up quickly.

He's been a constant on the Bulldogs' first line this season, getting lots of exposure ahead of the draft next June. Vanacker's combination of size, strength, and precise, slick hands are appealing for any team.

2nd Star: Jack Ivankovic, Mississauga Steelheads (35 Saves)

3 (MIS) - 1 (OTT)

The 2007-born rookie goaltender has put up yet another stellar performance in the Steelheads net. Ivankovic has shown time and time again his ability to steal games for his team, and this is what he did again against the 67's. The Steelheads had a majority of the pressure early on, but as the game continued, Ottawa began to catch up and turn the tides offensively.

Ivankovic was solid throughout, and made some game-saving saves with his tremendous athleticism. Ivankovic provides some hope in goaltending development in Canada, and might just be the best goaltender we've seen in the CHL in recent years.

The Mississauga-native has been able to play for his hometown team, since the Steelheads drafted him in the first round. He has also been able to share the net with one of the OHL's best goaltenders — Ryerson Leenders.

3rd Star: Gabriel Frasca, Kingston Frontenacs (OT Winning Goal)

6 (KGN - 5 (BFD)

Gabriel Frasca was injured for the better part of the first half of the season, but he has not skipped a beat since his return. With his overtime winning goal against the Bulldogs, Frasca now has two OT winning goals in his first eight games back. He has also put up a point-per-game since his return.

The draft eligible forward has clearly been missed by the Frontenacs, as they have been struggling to find any positives at all. If Frasca keeps this performance up, he will quickly work his way into draft talks, which have been minimal due to his injury.

Frasca is back, and the Kingston Frontenacs have some momentum to build of off heading into the break.
