Set to host the 2027 Memorial Cup, the Storm have loaded up over the summer in preparation for a big season.
There might be no team in the entire CHL that's been busier than the Guelph Storm this summer.
And, with the host spot in the 2027 Memorial Cup around the corner, you wouldn't expect anything else. In has come a host of new additions, and as the season goes along, there will surely be more to come.
But, there have already been so many new faces added to this roster.

(Photo: Natalie Shaver/OHL Images)Ben Hrebik in goal, Timothy Kazda, Adrien Bartovic and Vladimir Dravecky in as imports, Ryan Roobroeck, Owen Griffin, Ethan Czata up front, there's going to be a ton of firepower on display as the Storm look to build as the season goes along.
That's on top of key returners such as Jaakko Wycisk, Rylan Singh, Tyler Hopkins, Carter Stevens, Eric Frossard and more. Guelph has done a good job building out a deep and cometitive group all across, and they seem set to enter 2026-27 as a contender.
Where the team might need a bit of extra support is on the blue line, especially after Quinn Beauchesne's departure for Boston University. Putting the finishing touches on the blue line will likely be the top priority on the plate of GM George Burnett as the season goes along.
But, for now, Guelph already looks like one of the top contenders in the West, and a team really looking forward to hosting the Memorial Cup.
