After a 100-point season, the 67's will look to the new generation to step up.
The 2025-26 season was a very strong one in Ottawa, eclipsing the 100-point mark with the third-best record in the OHL, but falling in the second round of the playoffs to the Barrie Colts.
There were some really fantastic breakout performances from a number of players on this roster, and credit goes to Dave Cameron and the rest of the organization for fostering a very deep and well-rounded roster.
But, with any strong season, there will be some key players moving on. That's the case for Ottawa this year, and they'll look to some younger players to step up where older players depart.

(Photo: Terry Wilson/OHL Images)CHL goaltender of the year Ryder Fetterolf is off to school, while key overagers in Cooper Foster, Nic Sima and Sam McCue are also aging out. Other important players in Frankie Marrelli, Jasper Kuhta and Thomas Vandenberg are also all heading to the NCAA for the upcoming season.
With that means there will need to be some internal growth, especially when this summer's additions have been rather slim outside of a trade for Jaiden Newton.
Players such as Ondrej Ruml, Kohyn Eshkawkogan and Brock Chitaroni should be ready for even bigger roles, while there are older players in Filip Ekberg and Spencer Bowes that are sticking around as well.
In all, the 67's are a well-run, well-coached team with some good prospects, and should be in for another solid season as 2026-27 begins.
