A fairly young Attack team will try and build on a first-round exit in 2025-26.
The 2025-26 campaign was one of development for the Owen Sound Attack, as they handed the reins over to some of the organizations key young players, and let them experience the playoffs for the first time.
That saw them eliminated pretty quickly by Flint, but they'll hope it should develop into a year of growth in the new season.
The summer has been a pretty interesting one, with some big additions as well as a few untimely departures. While Owen Sound might not be shaping up to be an elite-level contender this season, they can certainly make their fair share of noise in the Midwest division.

(Photo: Natalie Shaver/OHL images)One of the big places of change is in goal, with Trenten Bennett heading out to Flint as Ryerson Leenders is brought in from Brantford. Leenders has a ton of experience and is one of the top goaltenders in the OHL, and will give this team a big boost between the pipes.
Otherwise, the Attack have added a pair of imports in Lucien Bernat and Roderik Cernak entering the fray, and should bring some more depth in the middle of the lineup.
The exit of Nicholas Sykora hurts the top-six, though, as does Tristan Delisle choosing to head to school early. Moving Kaden Taylor in a recent trade also weakens the forward core. Gone as well are overagers Lenny Greenberg, Noah Nelson and Noah Roberts.
So, a lot of this team's potential comes down to some of the key guys already on the roster. Captain Pierce Mbuyi has shown well on the scoresheet, and has the skill and ability to really become a top player in the league, while guys like Harry Nansi and Cole Zurawski are formidable forwards in this league as well.
It'll be up to those core guys, plus some of the additions this summer, to really drive the bus in Owen Sound. We'll see how high they can push this team in the standings.
