As the 2024 NHL Draft season continues, the rosters for the CHL Top Prospects Game have been released — including eighteen OHLers. More on potential snubs, and standout players.
Eighteen OHLers eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft have been named to this year's CHL Top Prospects Game. Full list of OHL players participating:

G, Ryerson Leenders (Mississauga Steelheads)
Oshawa leads this group with three Generals players participating in the game (Sennecke, Danford, & Marrelli), while London and Mississauga each have two.
This year's Top Prospects Game will take place in Moncton, NB. where all eighteen OHLers will play in front of the eyes of many NHL scouts and management staff.
Having two OHL goaltenders playing in this game is something that we don't usually see. Leenders and George are two highly-regarded goaltenders in this entire draft class, proudly representing the OHL who doesn't often have top goaltending prospects.
A trio of 'A' rated defenders — Sam Dickinson, Zayne Parekh, & Henry Mews — all have the potential to hear their names called in the first round in Vegas next June. Each brings something different to the table. Dickinson has his patience, poise, and puck control. Parekh has his blazing offensive toolkit and puck-moving ability. And Mews has his picture-perfect stride and offensive zone vision.
Leading the way up front is Windsor Spitfires winger, Liam Greentree. He is one-of-two 'A' rated players, according to NHL Central Scouting. His complete game and compete level is off-the-charts, and his offensive game has reached new highs this season.
The other 'A' rated forward is Beckett Sennecke of the Oshawa Generals. Sennecke has so much pure skill, and combined with his quickness is a dangerous duo. He has the ability to attack in a variety of ways, but often relies on his hands and manipulation of opponents.
There are always players considered "snubs" when looking at the players omitted from this list.
Niagara IceDogs scoring leader and electric skater Kevin He was left off of this roster, despite being one of his team's only source of offence. He is one of the quickest players in the OHL. If you challenge him in a foot race, he will always win.
Another player left off is November's OHL Rookie of the Month — Cole Davis. Davis and Greentree have been a huge part of the Spitfires offence, and Davis has skyrocketed his own draft stock recently.
The last omission I will highlight is 67's defenceman Frankie Marrelli. He plays a solid, physical game but he also activates often offensively by using his quickness and mobility. Marrelli represented Canada in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup this past August, and caught some eyes there as well.
The 2024 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will be played on Wednesday, January 24th in Moncton, N.B. All eighteen OHLers will be in action, as a big chance to shine in front of tons of NHL managers and scouts.
